Week 10 No Plays

I will not rule out any player on any  week, it's the NFL and anything can and will happen.  With that said, some players are simply not worth the gamble.  The odds are much weaker for a strong performance than other weeks due to match ups or injury concerns.  Putting together our DFS puzzle is partially an exercise in minimizing our risks.

No Plays For Week 10

Jay Cutler ($5100)
Bears vs Rams
Cutler has been playing quite well over the last several weeks.  In fact, I felt like Cutler was in a fine spot playing the Chargers on Monday night.  The Rams are a tough defensive bunch.  They currently rank 4th in passing yards given up and have only allowed 4 passing TD's on the season.  This is a big fat No Play.

LeSean McCoy ($5500)/Karlos Williams ($3800)
Jets vs Buffalo - Thursday Night
The Jets are the #1 rushing defense in the NFL averaging just 80.6 yards per game and only allowing 2 rushing TD's on the season. Both are appealing coming off dual 100+ yard games in Week 9 but this is a no play on all accounts.  The Jets are at home and I will be using the NYJ D/ST in most of my line up cards this week.  I don't believe McCoy plays this week on an early turn around but we will monitor his progress as the Bills go through practice this week.  With or without McCoy, I am not excited about Karlos Williams this week.

Jeremy Maclin ($5500)
Chiefs vs Broncos
Denver remains at the top tier of all defensive categories including yards per game (181) and TD's (7) against the pass.  In their first match up, Alex Smith passed for 191 yards and 2 INT's.  In that same game, Maclin had a pedestrian 57 yards on 4 catches.  Maclin is a good fit for this offense, this just isn't the game you want to use him.

Arizona Cardinal WR's
Cardinals vs Seahawks
This is the hardest one to recommend.  The Cardinal offense has been cooking all season long and may just continue to do so against the Seahawks this week but there are some signs hinting otherwise.  The Cardinals are coming off their bye week extremely hot averaging 356 yards through the air over the last three weeks.  The Seahawks on the other hand are only giving up 181 yards per game passing on the entire season.  In addition, they have only allowed 6 TD's passing.  Again, this isn't a sitation where I say DON'T PLAY the Arizona passing game but I will be shying away from them in DFS Week 10.
