Week 10 Thursday Night Football Expectations

Let's take a look at the TNF match up and see if we can find any DFS value for tonight's game.

Buffalo 43
NYJ -2.5

Vegas doesn't see this one as a high scoring affair and I tend to agree.  That doesn't mean you can't find DFS value in the game though.

I will reiterate, I will enter contests with TNF players but traditionally will not use any of the players.

Eric Decker ($5300)
Over the last four weeks Decker has received 7/12/7/9 targets.  He has converted those targets into 22 Receptions, 292 Yards, and 3 TD's.  Ryan Fitzpatrick looks to get the start which bodes well for this offense.  The entire Jets team plays well with Fitzpatrick under center.

If you need some action on the game tonight, Decker may be the bet.

Chris Ivory ($5900)
The Buffalo rush defense currently ranks 5th in yards given up.  They have also been relatively stingy only giving up 6 rushing TD's on the season.  Ivory has had a slow few weeks though he found the end zone twice against the Jags last week.  It should be noted in that same contest he ran for 26 yards on 23 carries.

Ivory is a no play for me this week.

Sammy Watkins ($5000)
When Watkins plays, he finds a way to produce quality starts.  He has found the end zone in three of the five games he has played in.  Tyrod Taylor clearly has trust in Watkins and that shows on the field.  While this is not a prime match up due to the short Thursday turn around and a tough NY Jets defense, Watkins and Taylor have been able to give us a positive return on our investment.

Less than prime match up, would not be strong recommendation for DFS though in season long formats would make a decent WR3.

LeSean McCoy ($5500)/Karlos Williams ($3800)
The Jets are the #1 rushing defense in the NFL averaging just 80.6 yards per game and only allowing 2 rushing TD's on the season. Both Williams and McCoy are appealing coming off dual 100+ yard games in Week 9 but this is a no play on all accounts.  The Jets are at home and I will be using the NYJ D/ST in most of my line up cards this week. It now looks like McCoy will play leaving a timeshare RB situation against a very stingy rush defense.

I will not be recommending either in tonight's game.

If you have any specific questions about TNF action, send me a tweet to @Brian_Eilering .  I enjoy the interaction and will attempt to reply to everyone.
