Week 11 WR Value Plays

The four worst pass defenses (Saints, Giants, Browns, Steelers) are on a bye in week 11 which makes it a bit more difficult to cherry pick the match ups we can exploit.  That does not mean it is impossible.

Danny Amendola ($4000)
New England vs Buffalo
Once again, the Patriots are projected for the most points on Week 11.  The injury to Julian Edelman leaves a massive hole in this offense.  Before going out, Edelman was producing at a very high level and also priced accordingly on Draft Kings.  He had reached a price tag of $8200 before his injury against the Giants.  Now Amendola steps into that same role where he has previously proven he can fill, for less than half the price.  Few things in life have a direct replacement, this is one of them.

Amendola should be used in ALL FORMATS!

Amari Cooper ($6800)
Oakland vs Detroit
Cooper is the 13th most expensive WR on the DK board.  He could very easily be the highest scoring WR on the DK board as well.  Cooper will be both a value play and a premium play for me this week.  Five of the nine QB's have gone over the 300 yard threshold against the Lions on the season including a 407 yard game from Phillip Rivers.  Expect more of the same from Cooper/Carr as Carr now has three straight 300+ yard games and a total of five of them on the season.  Amari Cooper is having a very nice rookie season including three 100+ yard games and 4 TDs.  This is a prime match up for the Oakland passing game even though they are traveling across the country for an early start.

Cooper has a relatively low floor making him a great cash game play and his high ceiling makes him a strong GPP play.  Cooper can be used in all formats.

Sammy Watkins ($4800)
Buffalo vs New England
Watkins was covered by Revis in Week 10 and couldn't make the most of it.  I don't believe the Patriots will go out of their way to take Watkins out of the game.   They will likely focus more on the run.  As the Pats continue to pile up points, they also force their opponents to follow suite.  Watkins has a very attractive price but as always with Watkins he is a boom/bust WR.  His floor is an absolute ZERO but has a ceiling North of 100 yards and 2 TD's.

Watkins low floor makes him more of a GPP candidate.

Michael Floyd ($3800)
Arizona vs Cincinnati
Michael Floyd has performed like a WR1 over the last four weeks.  That streak looks to continue unless his hamstring holds him back.  Based on his performance alone, Floyd should be priced closer to the range of Michael Crabtree ($6000).  As long as his hamstring holds up this week, he should flourish.  Floyd posted 113/2 against the vaunted Seattle secondary.  Palmer has no problem throwing Floyd the ball in tight spaces and Floyd continues to reward his QB.  He was a very efficient seven receptions on nine targets against Seattle.

You will have to monitor his hamstring thoughout the week but I would not hesitate starting Floyd in all season long teams as well as all formats in DFS.
