Week 14 MNF Preview

The Daily Fantasy Minute: Where DFS advice is always free!

Well, if you are truly a degenerate and want to play in a MNF only contest, tonight is your night!

All kidding aside, there are some tasty match ups to look forward to tonight.

NYG 47.5
@ Miami PK
The PK simply means Vegas calls it a coin flip game.  Considering the home team gets 3 points for showing up. they really think the Giants are a better football team right now.  I don't disagree.

Many coaches have been fired in Miami this year for not running the football.  Lamar Miller essentially has a series of one game try outs starting tonight going through the rest of the season.  It is largely thought he will no longer be in Miami for the 2016 season.  Miller will be in front of the NFL stage tonight with basically every GM watching.  The Dolphins are highly more successful when they get Miller the ball.  They have won each (four) game when Miller rushes the ball 14+ times.  Last week, Miller ran the ball 20 times turning those carries into 113 yards.  I see another 20+ touch game for Miller and conversely not much from their passing game.

Tannehill has regressed
as an NFL quarterback.  Part of that can be attributed to the turn over at the OC position but not all of it.  The unfortunate thing for the Dolphins, I don't believe they currently know if Tannehill is the answer at quarterback in year number four of his career.  While the draft class for QB's looks to be relatively thin this coming draft, the Dolphins may have to wait until 2017 to see if they need to move on.  They will have a new coach in 2016 and the new regime just might give Tannehill one more shot before they pull the plug on the experiment.

If you are holding on to a any NYG other than Odell Beckham Jr tonight, you may be in for a long night.  Their running back situation is a mess right now.  While I'm not saying, none of them will do well, I am saying it may be like playing a game of pin the tale on the donkey.  Good luck finding the donkey.

Brent Grimes has had a VERY poor season trying to shadow #1 wideouts.  Just a couple weeks ago, Brandon Marshall torched Grimes for 131/2 on 9 catches.  I would expect more of the same from ODB tonight.  He could be in for a record performance this evening.  There will likely be some scraps to be had as the coverage rolls over to Beckham.  Dwayne Harris and Ruben Randle could benefit with a sporadic TD though the large volume will be headed towards ODB.

It is a MNF game with the Giants traveling to Miami.  The game just might have some entertaining moments and I can see ending in a close one.
