Week 15 TE Plays

The Daily Fantasy Minute: Where DFS advice is always free!

1. Jordan Reed ($5900)
Buffalo 44

@ Washington -1
Jordan Reed is a special athletic talent when the injury bug doesn't derail his season.  His Week 14 game against the Bears was unbelievable.  Watch the first hi-light on the the video here.   It took me a minute to find the clip but it was well worth it.  He proves just how strong and physical he can be.  Just last week, Zach Ertz was able to put up a 5/98/0 game against the Bills and Jordan Reed is a much better all around athlete than Ertz.  Reed now has seven TD's on the season and went over 100 yards for the first time in Week 14 but has been close on two other occasions (Week 3/96, Week 8/98).  Reed is averaging 8.5 targets over the last four weeks, a trend that doesn't look like it will end anytime soon.  Reed looks like has a high floor and a high ceiling making him a viable target for all DFS formats.

2.  Zach Miller ($3600)
Chicago 43
@ Minnesota -4
Zach Miller has surprising speed and athletic ability.
His catch and run here is the longest from a TE since 1999.

The Bears just sent Martellus Bennett to season ending IR springing  Miller into a prime time role.  Jay Cutler has shown am affinity for his TE peppering Bennett with 80 targets over the course of the season.  Miller already has 5 TD's on the season, his new role will give him an opportunity to expand on his numbers.  Miller does have a low floor so he may not be the best option for your 50/50 line ups but is $3600 price tag and big play ability make him a great GPP play for Week 15.

3.  Greg Olsen ($6900)

Carolina -5
New York Giants 48.5
Olsen is going to cost you this week but he could pay off.  Saving money on your TE can really hamstring your results.  Last week, I used Luke Willson in several line ups and he provided me with nearly nothing.  Adding Olsen would provide some stability at the position with a serious amount of upside.  The Giants have given up 100+ yards to three different TE's this season and a 98 yard game on one other occasion.  The Giants have also allowed six touchdowns to TE's giving Olsen some added appeal.  You may be weary of spending nearly $7,000 on a TE and I can't say that I blame you.  I will say if you are contemplating spending big bucks on a TE, Olsen is your best bet.
