The Daily Fantasy Minute - The Defensive Bargain Bin

As we look into your weekly Defensive/Special Teams selection of the week, I usually try to find as cheap and productive unit as possible.  That usually lands squarely on the team playing Jacksonville.  It has been quite fruitful over the course of the season and is usually a nice price tag allowing for a better Flex play.

This week Jacksonville plays Cleveland ($3,000).  Man, is that enticing.  Bortles has bettered the team as a whole but he's young and he makes young mistakes.  These are the things D's thrive off of.  This one is easy pickings.

Let's attempt to zig while other zag, I have a sneaking suspicion I'm not the only on on to this Jacksonville play.

Looking at Detroit ($3,200), they lead the league with 20 sacks and are playing at home vs a team who likes to give the ball away.  The Saints are tied for 3rd worst in the league with -7 in the Take-Away/Give-Away department.  I'd count on the Lions front to get to Brees while forcing a Turn Over or two.

New England ($4,200) is the most expensive defense on the Draft Kings Board and for good reason. The Pats are tied for 1st in the NFL at +9 Give-Away/Take-Away's while they are playing the Jets who are on the other end of the spectrum at -7 which puts them tied for 3rd worst in the NFL.  This match-up has an opportunity to bring substantial Thursday Night returns for us.

Remember, a lot of Daily players don't look at line ups and match-ups until the weekend.  If you can exploit some TNF matchups and be ahead of the game, this works in your benefit.  We are all looking for and edge, here you go.

I always enjoy enjoy your feedback.
