The Colts and the Saints are the only two teams overlapping on the two lists.
It should also be noted, the Saints are a league worst giving up 8.7 YPA and 287 YPG. These indicators are alarming and should be accredited to the personnel more so than the DC. The Saints defense has been truly bad for several seasons now.
1. Russell Wilson ($6300)
Seattle vs Baltimore
I am not sure which QB is hotter, Ben Roethlisberger or Russell Wilson. Over the last three games, Wilson has thrown for 879 yards, 11 TD's, and zero INT's. Baltimore held Tannehill to just 86 yards last week and over the last seaveral weeks has had good numbers against less than stellar QB's.
Player | Week | Comp | Att | PYd | PTD | Int | Rsh | R/YD | R/TD | FantPt |
Ryan Tannehill | 13 | 9 | 19 | 86 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 11 | 0 | 9.4 |
Josh McCown | 12 | 21 | 38 | 212 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 12 | 0 | 15.8 |
Austin Davis | 12 | 7 | 10 | 77 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 7 | 0 | 8.55 |
Case Keenum | 11 | 12 | 26 | 136 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 10.8 |
Blake Bortles | 10 | 22 | 45 | 188 | 2 | 1 | 2 | 25 | 0 | 18.9 |
This doesn't scare me at all for Wilson. Wilson currently has his offense playing it's best all season heading down the stretch. As we sneak into our fantasy playoffs, these are the kinds of hot players we want in our line ups to win our leagues. Now it's time to take advantage of the hot hand for DFS. Wilson has given his DFS owners more than 5x value three weeks straight including 6x value in Week 12 against the Steelers.
2. Jameis Winston ($5500)
Tampa Bay vs New Orleans
The Saints defense is legendarily bad right now and it's not schematic thing, it's a lack of personnel thing. Not only is he burnt regularly, but Brandon Browner also leads the league in penalties with 21. Winston is growing up quickly as a quality NFL quarterback. His 17/11 TD/INT ratio is on par with other rookies at the position but he now faces a team who is tied for 3rd worse with just 6 passing takeaways on the season. Winston has added 5 TD's with his legs making him a very valuable DraftKings starter who should have both a high floor and high ceiling going against the league's worst pass defense. His price makes him very attractive which could easily make him the highest owned quarterback for Week 14. You will have to decide whether to play him or fade him hoping he has a dud. Getting to 4x value (22.0 FPTS) is a very achievable act. This game has the highest total of the week at 51 hinting that Vegas agrees with a high scoring affair. I will be fading Winston in favor of...
3. Ben Roethlisberger ($6800)
Pittsburgh vs Cincinnati
Big Ben comes in to this match up as the hottest quarterback (Wilson a close 2nd) in the league. This game has the second highest total on the board with Vegas projecting 49 and the Steelers projected for 23. Roethlisberger is AVERAGING a startling 383.25 YPG over his last four games including a match up with Seattle which was his best day totaling 456 yards.
Edit to add: Bengals RCB Adam Jones (foot) was spotted in a cast and on a motorized scooter Wednesday.
Jacksonville vs Indianapolis
Recency bias tells us to start Bortles. The Colts just surrendered 364 yards and 4 TD's to previously mentioned Roethlisberger. Allen Hurns has been cleared to play adding Bortles second favorite target back to the line up. Allen Robinson continues to prove he is a legitimate WR1 where he is averaging 11 targets over his last four converting those targets into 373 yards and 5 TD's. Julius Thomas is beginning to gel in this offense giving Bortles a full compliment of weapons to choose from as he goes through is progressions.

Steelers' 2,116 total yards over the past 4 games are second only to 1982 "Air Coryell" Chargers for most ever in a 4-game span.

The Steelers continue to go for two point conversions where they have a league leading 10 attempts successfully converting those 70% of the time. The Bengals secondary is ranked 13th in yardage and does have 15 INT's. Roethlisberger is averaging 38 passing attempts on the season (43.2 over last five) and gave up a season high 3 INT's to the Bengals the last time they played back in Week 8. The possibility of increased INT's against the Bengals secondary tempers our expectations but I have no issue firing him into my Week 14 line ups.Edit to add: Bengals RCB Adam Jones (foot) was spotted in a cast and on a motorized scooter Wednesday.
Looks like Adam jones not practicing Friday. In a walking boot
