This is just a quick mock up but I have a feeling this will be the foundation I use in many contests as the week progresses.
Pos | Player | FPPG | |
QB | Tony Romo | 18.2 | swap out |
RB | Denard Robinson | 6.5 | swap out |
RB | Ben Tate | 11.1 | swap out |
WR | Dez Bryant | 19.1 | swap out |
WR | Greg Jennings | 9.5 | swap out |
WR | Jordy Nelson | 23.3 | swap out |
TE | Owen Daniels | 10.4 | swap out |
FLEX | Demaryius Thomas | 25.4 | swap out |
DST | Vikings | 7.1 | swap out |
Tony Romo and the Cowboys continue to produce fantasy gold. Washington is the league worst against the pass statistically priming another bargain bin value at $7400.
Denard Robinson sure looks like the new feature back in Jacksonville. Costing just $4600 may prove to be the best value on the board.
The Raiders continue to struggle against the run and with Cleveland up next, I see an opportunity to be had. Ben Tate stumbled a bit against Jacksonville in week 7, this allows his price to stay at a bargain bin value of just $4600. I would put this in the strong buy category.
Getting our RB position out of the way at a combined $9200 allows us to load up at the WR position hopefully stabilizing what is usually a volatile position. It's not often you can combine Jordy Nelson, Demaryius Thomas, and Dez Bryant in the same line up card.
Cincinnati continues to give up an amazing amount of points to the TE position. Last week was no different where Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen combined for 7 receptions, 116 yards and a score. This immediately puts Owen Daniels on my radar at a mere price tag of just $4100. Daniels had a nice stat line of 6/58/1 against the terribly bad Atlanta Falcons...still my favorite team.
I always like to find a DST facing a young QB. We have that with Minnesota facing TB this week. A few Glennon mistakes could find us a fortune for the bargain bin price of $2600.
I still have $100 to spare, I'll poke around to see if I can spend that $100 in my pocket.
